About Me
My journey has been quite a blend of creativity, language, and exploration. After visiting Europe at 20, and more specifically Paris, I decided to continue my journey at home by exploring a world of knowledge in Liberal Arts…honing critical thinking skills and innovation. Then I continued my studies by earning a Bachelors in Theatre. But France still beckoned, and my heart yearned for Paris. So, right here at Fullerton College, I immersed myself in the French language and culture, earning my degree in none other than French. In my free time, I enjoy tasting good food, going to the ocean, biking, and swimming.
Why I Love Teaching
France: The very word conjures up images of romance, art, and exquisite cuisine. I adore the French language—the lilting sounds, the poetic expressions. French people have a certain je ne sais quoi—an elegance, a zest for life. As a teacher, I get to introduce my students to this vibrant culture. I get to teach about Paris, the fashion capital! It allows me to weave in stories about Coco Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and the timeless allure of the Champs-Élysées. Culture isn’t just in textbooks; it’s in every cobblestone. I cherish the connections I make with my students while teaching about France. Teaching isn’t just about imparting knowledge; it’s about shaping futures. When I see my students thrive, I know I’ve made a difference. It’s my way of giving back to the community. Teaching isn’t a profession; it’s a love affair with learning, growth, and the joy of kindling curiosity.
